The XI International Congress of the European Mosquito Control Association (EMCA) will take place from 7 to 10 November 2023, at the Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos Building, on the campus of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), organized by the Applied Zoology and Conservation research group of the UIB and INAGEA.
The program will cover a broad spectrum of topics, from surveillance and management of invasive mosquito species and other vector groups, to best practices for mosquito control and biocide management. In addition, concepts of citizen science and community involvement in mosquito surveillance and control will be explored, along with public health challenges and perspectives. The congress has 190 participants from 32 countries and 116 scientific communications.
The 11th EMCA International Congress stands as a must-attend event for those interested in vector control, entomology and public health. LINK
