Our colleague Jaume Flexas is one of the most cited researchers in the field of plant biology according to the international ranking Highly Cited Researchers 2023

Dr. Flexas’ research focuses mainly on the study of photosynthesis, particularly on the mechanisms of CO2 diffusion, its ecophysiology and evolution. He was awarded the National Zapatero Prize of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology for Young Researchers in 2005 and the European Young Scientist FESPP Award in Plant Biology (2006).Dr. Flexas appears uninterruptedly since 2014 in the ranking of most cited researchers in the field of plant sciences .
