Huge Success of the “Science for Everyone” Fair 2025 with Outstanding Participation by INAGEA

On May 8th, 9th, and 10th, the UIB campus hosted the “Science for Everyone” Fair, an initiative organized by university professors to promote scientific and technological vocations among young people. Over three days, primary and secondary school students, as well as the general public, enjoyed a wide range of interactive science and technology experiments, demonstrations, and workshops, all free of charge.

📌 INAGEA’s Participation
INAGEA (Institute of Agro-environmental Research and Water Economics) had its own stand, where students explored the secrets of in vitro cultivation, a key technique in modern agriculture and biodiversity conservation. Additionally, the Applied Zoology and Conservation Group (ZAP), led by INAGEA researcher Dr. Miguel Ángel Miranda Chueca, engaged attendees with interactive activities about the fascinating world of insects.

The fair was a great success, attracting large numbers of students and families who enjoyed a unique opportunity to engage with science in a hands-on and fun way. The institute would like to congratulate the organizers and our INAGEA researchers for their outstanding contribution.
